GCA Restoration Day at the Visitors Center at Big Basin Park.

Help with the GCA’s Restoration Initiative Grant to restore the new Visitors Center at Big Basin Park. We will dig and plant to help restore the damage from the devastating Santa Cruz fires. The Visitors Center is being rebuilt off of Highway One, between Santa Cruz and Pescadero.
Tuesday, November 29th, 9:30 -12:30 – we will dig People will need to bring small shovels for digging and buckets to hold the temporarily displaced soil.
Wednesday, November 30th, 9:30 – 12:30 – we will plant 200 plants and add a soil amendment with each plant. People will need to wear gloves, bring small shovels to put the soil back in place and buckets to hold the soil amendment
