They were inspired to\nform the Garden Conservancy\, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving\nsignificant American gardens\, and The Ruth Bancroft Garden became\nthe first preservation project of the newly formed organization. The\nGarden opened to the public in the early 1990s.\nPlease refer to the Ruth Bancroft Website for more information and\nbackground. \nPLEASE RSVP TO MELISSA HARRIS so I\ncan know who to expect.
